Challah (Bread)(permalink) Ingredients: 7/8 cup water 1/2 tablespoon salt 1/4 cup honey 2 eggs 1/2 cup butter, melted 4+ cups all purpose flour 1 package (2 teaspoons) dry yeast Combine above and mix well. Knead or process in food processor. Let rise once, punch down and shape into a loaf or braid. Let rise again. Brush top with beaten egg for shiny crust.
